New Projects in the Garden

Spring is here, and the Garden is the place to be. There are many projects in the works... as usual!

STEPS/SEATING PROJECT
Mr. Casey and his Math students are working on a phenomenal project using natural building techniques to create steps that will double as an outdoor amphitheater/seating area at the entrance to the garden. NOTE: We would like to extend a very special thank you to the Analy High Ed Foundation who raised the funds for this project. This is a wonderful opportunity to offer students a unique learning experience, using maths skills in a very practical way.

FOUNTAIN PROJECT
Visiting Local Artist, Kim Collett, is working with Mrs. Briggs & students to create an amazing fountain as a focal point for the garden. The design will involve intricate mosaic tile work that will reflect the artistic beauty seen in the tile mosaic labyrinth at the entrance to the garden, as well as the stepping stones throughout.

INFORMATION KIOSK PROJECT
Mr. Liebig and his students will be installing the new Garden Information Kiosk soon! This will be a great location to post information about what's growing in the garden, and to display student work in connection with the garden and the environment. This project was also funded by the Analy Ed Foundation, this is an investment that will contribute to creative education now and for many years to come...
